ARW Reunion 2006 Tiger.jpgMay 17, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - You're invited to return to DePauw University to catch up with friends and classmates, see former professors, and celebrate the DePauw experience during Alumni Reunion Weekend, June 6-10. A number of activities are planned, with highlights including speeches by Vernon E. Jordan Jr. '57 and Susan M. Ansel '82 -- representing the golden and silver anniversary classes -- during Saturday's Alumni Celebration in Kresge Auditorium.

Many of the events associated with Alumni Reunion Weekend are free, but reservations are required for meals and rooms, which carry a fee. You can register online by clicking here, or download a form which can be mailed in.

At the Friday evening All-Alumni Kickoff Gala, you can reminisce with friends while enjoying stations of food, including carved beef and grilled seabass, salad, pasta and dessert in the Indoor Tennis and Track Center. The Cool City Swing Band, led by Shannon Gath Forsell '88, will provide the entertainment.

Saturday morning's Alumni Celebration will include the procession of the 25th and 50th reunion classes, a nostalgic audiovisual roll call of classes, induction into the Indiana Asbury Society for alumni celebrating 50 or more reunion years, the aforementioned speeches, and a University update by President Robert G. Bottoms.

On Saturday afternoon, a panel of leaders engaged in DePauw's Greek Fact-Finding process will bring alumni up-to-date on the discussions and actions that are designed to improve Greek life at the University, as well as answer your questions.

Community Leadership Awards will recognize members of each reunion class (classes ending in 2 or 7 this year) who make a difference through their leadership of community organizations.

Other planned events include an exhibition of alumni artwork in the Richard E. Peeler Art Center, "D" Association reception, Tiger Tennis Ball, Saturday afternoon receptions and the traditional Alumni Chapel on Sunday.

As they check in at the Memorial Student Union Building, each attendee will receive a free commemorative DVD, which includes vintage DePauw admission films dating back to 1954, sixty "Monon Memories" covering 1932-2006, clips of recent campus highlights, and a photo gallery for each of the reunion year classes from 1932-2002.
