Nancy Hellyer '77 Appointed to Credit Union Board

July 30, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - Nancy (O'Donnell) Hellyer, president and CEO of Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center and 1977 graduate of DePauw University, has been named to the board of directors of Notre Dame Federal Credit Union. As a board member, "Hellyer will assist in the development of the strategic goals of the credit union. She will also provide direction in setting and upholding the policies of the credit union," reports the South Bend Tribune.
The article notes Hellyer's degree from the DePauw School of Nursing and notes, "She was named Business Woman of the Year by Business Ledger in 1999, and in 2007, she received the Junior Achievement of Michiana's Best and Brightest Award in the field of healthcare. Also in 2007, she received the President's Award in recognition of her continued support of the Urban League and its programs.'
