As Greencastle's Banner-Graphic reports, the pair were honored "after leading DePauw softball to a record-seting 37-7 season including a regional title in the program's first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division III Championship."

In Skrenta's five years leading the DePauw softball program, her teams "have posted a 107-82-1 record, including a 68-17 mark over the last two years. In each of the last four seasons, DePauw teams have increased their win total and winning percentage over spencer_clyde07.jpgthe previous season," notes the newspaper.

The Tigers finished the 2007 season ranked #5 in NCAA Division III and advanced to the finals of the national tournament.
