Prof. John Baughman '48 Published in Journal of Modern History

March 18, 1959, Greencastle, Ind. - An article by John J. Baughman, assistant professor of history at DePauw University, is published in the current issue of the Journal of Modern History. Entitled "The French Banquet Campaign of 1847-48," the 15-page article is based largely on information collected by Dr. Baughman while studying in France under a Fulbright grant seven years ago.

Professor Baughman, a 1948 graduate of DePauw, has been a member of the University's faculty since 1953.

The Journal of Modern History is published by the University of Chicago Press in cooperation with the European history section of the American Historical Association.
