Former Tiger Assistant Named Director of Basketball Operations at Wright State

September 12, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - Scott Woods, a former assistant men's basketball coach at DePauw University (1997-98), has been appointed director of men's basketball operations at Wright State University.

"We are very fortunate to hire someone with Scott's experience in our director of basketball operations position," says Wright State coach Brad Brownell, a 1991 DePauw graduate (seen at right). "He has held several assistant coaching positions at smaller colleges and he is excited about the opportunity at the Division I level." 

Most recently, Woods was an assistant coach at Saginaw Valley State University. He also has held assistant coaching positions at Manchester (Indiana) Brad Brownell 2005.jpgCollege and several high schools in Indiana. Woods is a 1993 graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and member of Rose-Hulman's Hall of Fame.
