Tigers Win Fifth Straight with Overtime Triumph

October 6, 2007, Wooster, Ohio - Ashley Fehr's goal late in the second overtime lifted DePauw to a 3-2 victory at Wooster. The Tigers improved to 7-4 with their fifth straight win, while the Fighting Scots droppped to 5-5.
Wooster took a 1-0 lead early as Eileen Barrer scored in the opening four minutes. DePauw's Beth Seegers tied the score with 8:15 left in the first half on an unassisted goal before Wooster took a 2-1 lead with 27:51 left in regulatioin on Brittany Montgomery's assist.
Just 51 seconds later Katie Sowar forced the eventual overtime with a tying goal on Lizzy Funk's assists.
DePauw outshot Wooster 26-10 and held a commanding 17-2 edge in penalty corners. Liz Attewell totaled six saves in goal for DePauw, while Izzy Maffetone had 13 for the Scots.
