Tigers Top Petrels; Stay Unbeaten in SCAC Play

October 12, 2007, Atlanta, Ga. - DePauw remained unbeaten in SCAC play at 4-0 and improved to 9-2-1 overall following a 3-1 win at Oglethorpe. The Stormy Petrels dropped to 3-7 overall and 2-2 in the conference. The win also assured the Tigers of their 26th straight .500 or better season under coach Page Cotton.

Oglethorpe scored the game's first goal as Russell Kramer scored on Bryan Burnick's assist at 7:32. Jake Dodds tied the game at 19:59 before Jeremy Rielley added two second-half goals.

The Stormy Petrels outshot DePauw 16-14 and each team had six corner kicks. John Fenley recorded six saves in goal for DePauw, while Sean Fernandes totaled three for the Petrels.

DePauw travels to Sewanee on Sunday.
