Tigers Drop to 9-7 after Loss at Washington and Lee

October 18, 2007, Lexington, Va. - Host Washington and Lee scored three goals in a 10-minute span of the first half on the way to a 3-0 victory over DePauw. The Tigers dropped to 9-7 with the loss, while Washington and Lee improved to 9-4.

Kelly Tran scored, unassisted, at 21:55 before Sallie Armstrong made it 2-0 at 26:45 on Stephanie Mansey's assists. Mansey then scored an unassisted goal at 31:29 to wrap up the scoring.

Washington and Lee outshot the Tigers 14-6 and held a 9-7 edge in corners. Liz Attewell recorded eight saves in goal for DePauw, while Tara Rubenstein had two and Caroline Habliston three for Washington and Lee's shutout.

DePauw hosts Centre and Sewanee on October 27-28, respecitvely.
