Terry Kaiser '78 Crowned 'Miss Indiana'

Terry Kaiser 1978.jpgJune 26, 1978, Greencastle, Ind. - Terry Jean Kaiser, who received her college diploma from DePauw University last month, has another reason to celebrate. She has been crowned Miss Indiana at the annual pageant in Michigan City. Her new title is accompanied by a $1,000 scholarship, a new car, a $1,000 wardrobe, $500 worth of jewelry, and gifts. A former 500 Festival princess and Mermaid Festival queen, the 22-year-old Kaiser majored in English at DePauw and plans to attend law school.

After a number of personal appearances this summer, she will compete for the title of Miss America later this year.
