Tigers Ranked 12th in Both National Polls

_DSC2706.jpgJanuary 3, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - After going 2-1 over the last two weeks, the 8-2 Tigers moved down six spots in both national polls and are now ranked 12th in Division III.

The Tigers totaled 336 points in the D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll which is topped by Hope College. DePauw's two losses have come to sixth-ranked Messiah and seventh-ranked Thomas More with one win over 10th-ranked Illinois Wesleyan.

DePauw has 116 points in the  USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Poll coaches' poll which Hope also leads. 

This is the Tigers' 60th straight week in the D3hoops.com Top 25 and 101st ranking overall since the poll started in 1999.

The Tigers host Sewanee on Friday, January 4, at 6 p.m. and then nationally-ranked Oglethorpe on Sunday at Noon The game will be carried live by WGRE (91.5 FM) and live stats are available here.
