DePauw Moves Up Spot in One National Poll

DePauw totaled 143 points in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Poll coaches' poll and moved up one spot. Hope remained number one with eight of 10 first-place votes and 247 total points.

The Tigers are 2-2 against teams ranked in this week's top 25 with wins over fifth-ranked Illinois Wesleyan and 24th-ranked Oglethorpe and losses to fifth-ranked Thomas More and ninth-ranked Messiah.

The Tigers totaled 336 points in the Top 25 Poll which is also topped by Hope College with 604 points and 11 first-place votes.

This is the Tigers' 61st straight week in the Top 25 and 102nd overall. Tigers' teams have received votes in 130 of the 131 polls since the rankings started in 1999.

The Tigers travel to Memphis on Friday for a 6 p.m. CST contest at Rhodes and then face Birmingham-Southern at 1 p.m. CST on Sunday. Both games can be heard on WGRE (91.5 FM).
