Tigers Climb in Both National Polls

DSC_0591.jpgJanuary 29, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - Following a weekend in which the 15-3 Tigers defeated Hendrix and Millsaps, DePauw moved up in both national polls.

The Tigers totaled 269 points in the D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll and moved up two spots to 13th. Hope College tops the poll with 618 points and 18 first-place votes.

This is the Tigers' 64th straight week in the D3hoops.com Top 25 and 105th overall. Tigers' teams have received votes in 133 of the 134 polls since the rankings started in 1999.

DePauw totaled 94 points in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Poll and moved up three places to 14th Hope remained in the top spot with 225 points and nine first-place votes.

The Tigers travel to Southwestern on Friday and are at Trinity on Saturday. Both games tip off at 6 p.m. CST and can be heard on WGRE (91.5 FM).
