Tigers Finish Fourth at Ohio Wesleyan Intercollegiate

September 16, 2008, Delaware, Ohio - DePauw shot a second-round 296 and placed fourth among 11 schools at the Lamkin Ohio Wesleyan Intercollegiate at the Oakhaven Golf Club.

Ohio Wesleyan won with a 580 followed by Carnegie Mellon with a 593 and Denison with a 595.

Ronnie Harris paced the Tigers with a 146 which tied for eighth, while Joey Piatek tied for 23rd with a 152. Nate Smith shot a 153 to tie for 29th and Chase King and Ryan Berra each shot 158 and tied for 48th. King shot DePauw's best round of the day with a 71 in the second which included a hole-in-one on number 17, a 170-yard, par 3.

Playing as an individual, Alex Burns tied for 13th with a 149 including a 72 in the second round. Ohio Wesleyan's Jordan Benner was the medalist with a 142.

DePauw returns to action on Sunday and Monday at the Rhodes College Fall Classic in Runica, Miss.
