Scott Storrer '89 Named President & CEO of MEDecision

Storrer as its new president and chief operating officer. A 1989 graduate of DePauw University, Storrer "previously served as group president, pharmaceutical segment for Cardinal Health, Inc. and has 15 years of experience in the health care industry," reports MarketWatch. He "will be responsible for all aspects of MEDecision's operations, including continued platform development, solution deployment and operational effectiveness."

The company's announcement notes, " Storrer contributes a deep background in the health insurance industry. Prior to his EC Snow 2000 1.jpgrole as group president, pharmaceutical segment for Cardinal Health, Storrer enjoyed a seven-year tenure with CIGNA Corporation, culminating with his role as executive vice president, service and information technology for the company. His previous background includes executive management roles with Liberty Mutual Group and GE's financial management program. He holds a B.A. in economics and mathematics from DePauw University, an M.B.A. from Boston University, and has completed executive training at Harvard University."
