James Bell '96 Elected Partner at Bingham McHale LLP

James Bell 2009.jpgJanuary 29, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — James J. Bell, a 1996 graduate of DePauw University, has been elected a partner at Bingham McHale, the law firm has announced. "Bell is a member of the firm's criminal defense team and the litigation department," notes the Indianapolis Star, which notes his degrees from DePauw, where he majored in English and economics, and the Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis (1999).

Bell served two terms as chairman of the Indiana State Bar Association's Criminal Justice Section and is currently on the Section's executive committee. In 2006, he was named a Distinguished Fellow of the Indianapolis Bar Association and was one of the individuals awarded the 2006 IBA's President's Award for service to the association.
