Michael Wallace '95 Joins ADAM as President

Adam Sportswear.gifFebruary 24, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — "Adam Lippes, founder and chief executive officer of the ADAM contemporary sportswear label, has named Michael Wallace as president," reports Women's Wear Daily. In his new role, Wallace, a 1995 graduate of DePauw University, is in charge of all wholesale sales, retail and online sales, international expansion and over see production of the line. He comes to ADAM from Lilly Pulitzer, where he served in various roles for seven years, the last being vice president and general manager in charge of their wholesale operation.

"Michael Wallace brings to us a host of wholesale experience we are going to need as we roll out our women's fashion brand and our men's and East College Night July 2008.JPGwomen's basics to more stores throughout America, Europe and the Middle East," says Lippes. "He did so much for his former company and we are thrilled to have him here to help take us to the next level with our existing and new accounts everywhere."

Wallace responded, "ADAM is now recognized as an established contemporary sportswear designer with a great following among retailers, fashion editors and consumers as well. He has built a loyal fan base and I am fortunate to join the company at this time of great expansion and growth."
