Prof. Jennifer Adams to Present at U of Chicago's Smart Museum, May 2

April 19, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — Jennifer L. Adams, assistant professor of communication and theatre at DePauw University, will lead a May 2 workshop at the University of Chicago's Smart Museum of Art. Adams' presentation, "The Materiality and Lost Art of Letter Writing," is being presented in conjunction with the exhibition, "Your Pal, Cliff: Selections from the H. C. Westermann Study Collection."

"Examine the unique illustrated correspondence exchanged by H. C. Westermann and his friends and be inspired to compose your own decorated letters using beautiful materials," notes an announcement promoting Dr. Adams' appearance.
