Sarah Reese Wallace 2007.jpgApril 21, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — Sarah Reese Wallace, chair and director of Newark, Ohio-based First Federal Savings and Loan Association and 1976 graduate of DePauw University, has been elected to the Park National Corporation board of directors. Wallace joined the Park National Bank board of directors last year. "She represents the third generation of the Reese family to be involved in the leadership at the Park National Bank and Park National Corporation," notes MarketWatch.

The announcement adds that Wallace "holds a master's degree in business administration from Indiana University and a bachelor's degree from DePauw University. Her philanthropic activities include serving as chairman of the board of trustees for Central Ohio Technical College; president of the governing board for A Call to College;sunny campus walk 2005.jpg trustee of the Newark Campus Development Fund (benefiting The Ohio State University Newark Campus and Central Ohio Technical College); trustee and president of the Thomas J. Evans Foundation, trustee of the Licking County Foundation, trustee of the First Federal Foundation; and member of the board of trustees for DePauw University, a role in which she has chaired several committees [including the panel that led the search for the University's nineteenth president, Brian W. Casey]. She is also a member of the Newark Rotary Club."
