DePauw Improves to 18-3 with 5-4 Win over Vincennes

April 21, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — The 13th-ranked Tigers improved to 18-3 on the season following a 5-4 win over Vincennes.

The Tigers trailed 2-1 after doubles play but picked up wins at first, fourth, fifth and sixth singles to take the win over junior college's sixth-ranked Trailblazers.

DePauw, seeded first in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship, opens tournament pdlay on Friday at 2:30 p.m. CDT against the winner of the Hendrix vs. Centre match. The Tigers are going after their third straight SCAC title. Complete information is available from the host site.
