Today's edition of the newspaper offers an account of the Bonner Summer Leadership Institute, which is taking place at Stetson University. "The gathering brought together students and staff from about 80 colleges and universities affiliated with the Bonner Foundation, an organization that promotes strengthening communities through service," writes Mark Harper. Bonner "supports 1,500 scholarships to students at 27 schools," including DePauw, a partner since 1993.

"Anderson, a math major interested in youth development, said the event is helping him learn about community building and working in collaboration with a group of strangers."
