Kristine Warrenburg '99 Joins Flagler College Faculty

Kristine Warrenburg 2008.jpgJuly 29, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — Kristine M. Warrenburg, a 1999 graduate of DePauw University, has been appointed assistant professor of communication at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. Her specialties are rhetoric and communication ethics.

"Ms. Warrenburg comes to Flagler with teaching experience at Wittenberg University, Hollins University and the University of Denver," notes an announcement. "She has written and published on the rhetoric of the civil rights movement, public address and social movements, as well as rhetorical theory and related topics. Her most recent publication is 'Aesthetic Argument: Moving Beyond Logic,' in Proceedings of the Sixth International Conference on Argumentation."

A communication major at DePauw, Warrenburg went on to earn an M.A. at Butler University and will be awarded a Ph.D. from the University of Denver this fall.
