Upcoming Rove-Dean Debate Draws AP's Attention

AP Associated Press.jpgAugust 11, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — "Howard Dean and Karl Rove are scheduled to debate at DePauw University in September," begins a story being distributed by the Associated Press this morning. "Dean is a former chairman of the Democratic National Committee, and Rove is the former chief political adviser to President George W. Bush. The two political speakers are slated to debate Sept. 11 about America's challenges and opportunities."

The piece adds, "DePauw University officials say the debate's format will allow members of the community to present issues and questions to Dean and Rove. The debate will be free and open to the public."
