Pair of Tigers Ready for NCAA Women's Competition

Massey_Katie_200809wsw.jpgMarch 17, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. —  Two DePauw student-athletes will compete at the NCAA Division III Women's Swimming and Diving Championships which begin today at the University of Minnesota and continue through Saturday. Baker_Catie_200809wsw.jpgJunior Katie Massey (New Palestine, Ind./New Palestine) is scheduled to compete in three events, while sophomore Catie Baker (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Kennedy) will compete in two.

Massey (left), who earned all-America honors in four events at the 2008 Championships, is seeded eighth in today's 50-yard freestyle and 12th in Saturday's 100.

Baker (right), the Swimmer of the Meet for the 2010 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships, is 14th in today's 200 individual medley, 10th in Friday's 100 breaststroke fifth in Saturday's 200 breast.
