Marathon Petroleum VP Randy Lohoff '74 Announces Retirement

Lohoff, vice president of corporate responsibility for Marathon Petroleum Co., will retire June 1 following a combined 33 years service with Marathon and Ashland Oil," reports Ohio's Findlay Courier today.  Lohoff is a 1974 graduate of DePauw University.

"Randy Lohoff has been a key member of Marathon's downstream leadership team since the creation of our former downstream joint venture with Ashland in 1998," says Gary R. Heminger, president of Marathon Petroleum. "The substantial knowledge and experience he brought to our company then and now have helped us advance the competitiveness of our top tier refining, marketing and transportation business segment."

The article notes that after graduating from DePauw, where he Marathon Oil.jpgmajored in economics, he earned a law degree from the University of Louisville. "He is a 1988 graduate of Indiana University's executive development program and a 2001 graduate of Stanford University's executive program."

Lohoff is president of the Black Swamp Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, chairman of the board of the Northwest Ohio Flood Mitigation Partnership, Inc., and chairman of the board of GreaterFindlayInc.
