Anthony Graves '98 Joins Visit Denver

Graves, a 1998 graduate of DePauw University, has been named director of government and community affairs for Visit Denver, the Colorado city's convention and visitors bureau. According to the Denver Business Journal, "Graves previously was adjunct professor of international marketing and business at Metropolitan State College of Denver and a sales-enablement manager at Level 3 Communications Inc., and earlier worked in international marketing and operations in the IT and telecommunications industry."

"We are very excited to have Anthony Graves at the bureau," states Richard Scharf, Visit Denver president and CEO. "He brings a wealth of experience in community relations, and is extremely involved in various community organizations throughout the metro area. He will be able to help us tell the story of how important tourism and conventions are to Denver and Colorado, as well as how much they benefit our economy."

The publication adds, "Graves has served as board chairman of the Five Points Business District, charter president of the Rotary Club Arch  Summer.jpgof Five Points Cultural District, and member of the board of delegates for Capitol Hill United Neighborhoods. He also has served on the Denver Community Health Board and the Utility Consumer Board. Graves is a graduate of DePauw University and holds an international M.B.A. from the University of Denver."
