Allison Rechter ISJul2010July 15, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — "By the time she opened Bella Bridesmaid in February, Allison Rechter had been a bridesmaid 10 times," begins a story published in today's Indianapolis Star. "So when she heard about the San Francisco-based franchise, known for its fashion-forward, wearable dresses, she knew she'd found her calling." (photo: Frank Espich/Indianapolis Star)

Rechter, a 2004 graduate of DePauw University, tells the newspaper, "I always liked the idea of owning a store."  She adds that her shop offers "a mix of national lines and exclusive lines."

Jenny Elig writes, "With the shop's celestial blue walls, gleaming parquet floors, rolling clothing racks and casual elegance, Bella Bridesmaid is kind of like shopping in your friend's closet -- if your friend had a great wardrobe and an awesome pad. Along with her sidekick, a golden the-indianapolis-star.jpgStandard Poodle named Penelope, Rechter presents a reassuring air to bridesmaids-to-be who visit the second-floor Broad Ripple store."
