NFL Player Offers Kudos for Coach Josh Buis '01

Lang, an offensive lineman for the National Football League's Green Bay Packers, delivered  an address to the Greencastle High School football team, coaches and fans Monday night. A summary of Lang's talk published in today's Banner-Graphic notes, "Assistant coach Josh Buis, a graduate of South Putnam and DePauw University, was his coach at Eastern Michigan, and Lang had nothing but great things to say about his former coach."

"I can tell you, coach Buis is one of the smartest coaches I've ever played around," Lang asserted. "I'm talking about every level of football I've played."

Buis is a 2001 DePauw graduate and earned three varsity letters playing football, a team he captained earning DePauw_IN.gifAll-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and Academic All-SCAC honors.  After serving as a graduate assistant at Northwestern University, Buis was an assistant football coach at Grand Valley State and Eastern Michigan.
