Reich and Stoffregen Earn Top Regional Honors

Reich_Lauren_2010wtrack.jpgMarch 10, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. —  DePauw senior Lauren Reich has earned the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Great Lakes Indoor Track Athlete of the Year and head coach Kori Stoffregen was tabbed the region's top women's coach. Kori_Stoffregen_06DPUCC.jpgReich (left)  broke three school records during the 2010 indoor season and will compete in the 800 meters and the mile at this weekend’s NCAA Division III Indoor Championships, with the fourth-fastest entering time in the 800 meters and the second-fastest in the mile. The Mesa, Ariz., resident has season bests of 2:12.16 for the 800 meters and 4:53.81 for the mile.

In his 14th year at DePauw, Stoffregen (right) qualified two runners in the mid-distance events to the NCAA Championships. This season, five indoor school records were broken and the team sits 16th in the national rankings.
