Matt Walker '99 Named Assistant Football Coach at Butler University

August 19, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — Matt Walker, a 1999 graduate of DePauw University, has been appointed an assistant football coach at Butler University.  An item in the Paper of Montgomery County notes, "Walker will be working with the tight ends."

Walker served as the DePauw's head baseball coach from 2000-09 and led the Tiger's football program during the 2006-08 seasons.

Butler's head football coach is Jeff Voris, a 1990 DePauw graduate. Joe Cheshire '99 serves as the co-defensive coordinator.
