DePauw Football Players Participate in Saturday's Plane Pull to Benefit Indiana Special Olympics

2010 Plane Pull logo.jpgAugust 26, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. —  Members of the DePauw football team will help raise money for Special Olympics Indiana when they participate in the 9th Annual Plane Pull Challenge at the old Indianapolis International Airport terminal on Saturday, August 28.

A total of 20 DePauw freshman players will form a team which will compete to pull a 147,000-pound, FedEx Boeing 727 a distance of 12 feet across the tarmac in the least amount of time.

Members of the team have raised money through pledges which will benefit Special Olympics athletes in Indiana.
