Former Trustee Steve Stitle to be Honored for Commitment to Community Service

September 8, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — Stephen A. Stitle, Indiana regional president of the PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. and former member of DePauw University's Board of Trustees, will be the honoree at this year's Masquerade in Indianapolis. The annual event will raise funds for two charities: Pacers Foundation and Simon Youth Foundation. It will take place Saturday, November 6, at Conseco Fieldhouse.

"As the respective chairs of Pacers Foundation and Simon Youth Foundation, both Cindy Simon Skjodt and I are very pleased to have Steve as our honoree this year," says Deborah Simon. "Steve is a true friend to Indiana's nonprofit community."

Inside Indiana Business notes, "Beyond Stitle's numerous professional achievements, his extensive community involvement as an active fundraiser and board member includes many leadership roles. In addition to serving on the boards of Pacers Foundation and Simon Youth Foundation, he is the past chair of the Center for Leadership Development, and active on the boards of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, Indiana Chamber of Commerce, Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee, Indiana University Foundation, Sagamore Institute for Policy Research, and St.Vincent's Heart Center of Indiana. Additionally, he has served as chairman of the board of the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, and has served on the board of DePauw University."

Previous honorees at the Masquerade event include former NBA star Reggie Miller, Melvin and Herb Simon, and Jeff Smulyan.
