11th-ranked DePauw Drops 2-1 Decision to Top-ranked Trinity

November 5, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. —  Josh Adams scored both goals for top-ranked Trinity on the way to a 2-1 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference win over 11th-ranked DePauw. The host Tigers dropped to 13-2-2 overall and 7-1-2 in the SCAC and suffered their first home loss of the season. Trinity improved to 17-2 overall and 10-0 in conference play.

Adams gave Trinity a 1-0 lead at the 6:46 mark on an assist from Yuri Ribeiro before Stephen Keller tied the game with a penalty kick at 40:37. Adams then delivered the game winner at 58:19 on Cameron Hogsett's assist.

Trinity held an 11-8 advantage in shots, while DePauw led in corners, 3-0. DePauw's Nate Sprenkel posted one save for DePauw, while Trinity's Joe Benefield had two.

The Tigers wrap up the regular season on Sunday when they host Southwestern at Noon.
