Tigers Fall at LaGrange, 10-6

March 21, 2011, LaGrange, Ga. — DePauw outhit LaGrange, 12-9, but the Tigers dropped a 10-6 decision at LaGrange. The loss was the Tigers' seventh straight as they dropped to 7-12. The Panthers improved to 16-7.
LaGrange jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first on Bobby Woodall's two-run triple before the Tigers knotted the score at 2-2 in the second. Aaron Henry drove in Zach Galyean with a single and Alex Berlyn scored on a wild throw n the play.
David Miller's single in the third plated Brent Kinsey and Travis Ross' double scored Woodall. Kevin McCrary's single through the left side brought home Miller and Ross scored on Phil Woods' squeeze bunt to give LaGrange a 6-2 lead.
Ben Gardner's single scored Galyean in the fourth, while Alex Wright's sacrifice fly in the fifth scored Jason Cohen after Cohen led off the inning with a triple.
Woods and Matt Hvizdzak drove in one each in the bottom of the fifth with RBI singles, while Miles Lee drove in two with a single to make it 10-4.
The Tigers added two in the ninth as Rob McPike's drove in Zach Starr with a sacrifice fly and Brendon Pashia scored when Wright reached on an error.
Cohen led DePauw with three hits, while Galyean and Henry had two each. Miller led LaGrange with two hits.
Michael Chiaro dropped to 0-2 with the loss, while Robby Williams improved to 4-1.
