Tigers Drop Two Saturday Matches

Alliance, Ohio - DePauw dropped to 23-5 on the season and had its six-match win streak come to an end following a pair of 3-0 losses to Heidelberg and tenth-ranked Mount Union.

Heidelberg defeated the Tigers 25-19, 25-18, 28-26 and Mount Union won by scores of 25-22, 25-22, 25-18.

Against Heidelberg, Mary Kate Etling and Kelly Doyle each had eight kills, while Faith Rolwes totaled 30 assists and five blocks. Keely McGrath led the way with 21 digs and Brekiesha Weszely finished with a team-high two service aces.

Doyle had 13 kills in the Mount Union match, while Rolwes led the way with 39 assists. McGrath totaled 13 digs with Emma Peacha recording two aces and Etling finishing with a pair of blocks.

The Tigers return to action on Friday, November 2, when they open play in the quarterfinals of the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament at Wittenberg as the number-two seed.
