Four Tigers Earn All-NCAC Volleyball Honors

Greencastle, Ind. - Four DePauw student-athletes have earned All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors for the 2012 season through voting by the NCAC volleyball coaches.

Sophomore middle hitter Mary Kate Etling (Terre Haute, Ind./Terre Haute North) and freshman setter Faith Rolwes (Chesterfield, Mo./Villa Duchesne) were named to the first team. Additionally, freshman libero Keely McGrath (Indianapolis, Ind./Cathedral) and senior outside hitter Katie Petrovich (St. Louis, Mo/Nerinx Hall) earned honorable mention.

Etling led DePauw with 299 kills averaging 2.99 kills per set. She also averaged a team-high 0.96 blocks per set. Rolwes contributed an impressive 1,086 assists this season and averaged 10.65 assists per set. She also was third with 0.67 blocks per set.

McGrath had a team-best 5.41 digs per set and led the way with 39 service aces. Petrovich was second in kills with 254 for a 2.49 per set average and also was fourth with 0.45 blocks per set.

The Tigers finished the season with a 25-6 record and were second in the conference regular standings and at the conference tournament.
