Clay Monographs of Priscilla Snow Algava '81 On Display in New Jersey

December 4, 2012

Clay monographs created by Priscilla Snow Algava, who received a master's degree from DePauw University in 1981, will be on display at New Jersey's Plainsboro Public Library, December 5 through January 2. The artist will be on hand for a reception on Thursday, December 6, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Currently a teacher at West Windsor Arts Center and privately in her studio, Algava is the recipient of a Geraldine Dodge Foundation Artist Fellow Award. She aims "to create visual poems that ask the viewer to imagine, to wonder and wander along with the artist," notes an artist's statement. "There are no answers…only questions to be lived and explored…and, perhaps, some small bits of magic to be created."
