Tigers Finish Seventh at Ohio Wesleyan

Delaware, Ohio - Paced by one first-place finish and another runner-up, DePauw totaled 47.5 points and finished seventh at the Marv Frye Invitational at Ohio Wesleyan.

Brittany Sievers won the discus throw with a best mark of 38.35 meters (125-10), while Heather O'Brien was second in the 5,000-meter run in 18:06.61..

Jillian Balser turned in a fourth-place performance in the pole vault with a school-record vault of 3.25 meters (10-8). Taryn Owens placed seventh in the event at 3.10 meters (10-2).

Angela Hacker finished fourth in the high jump and Celia Kauth seventh as both had a best leap of 1.48 meters (4-10.25).

Kathleen Molloy placed fifth in the 800 meters in 2:20.42 with Nicole Inman finishing eighth in 2:23.72. Emma Clor was fifth in the steeplechase in 13:13.59,  while Hope Jordan was sixth in the 1500 meters in 4:58.44.

The Tigers' 4 x 400 relay was fourth in 4:11.33.

DePauw returns to action at the Indiana Division III Meet at Franklin College on Saturday, April 13.
