Tim Ubben '58 Receives DePauw's Old Gold Goblet

October 16, 1993, Greencastle, Ind. - Timothy H. Ubben, a 1958 graduate of DePauw University, was today awarded the Old Gold Goblet by his alma mater.  Ubben, who is a member of DePauw's Board of Trustees and past president of the DePauw Alumni Association, was presented with the award at the Old Gold Luncheon today. DePauw's most prominent alumni award, the Old Gold Goblet is given annually to recognize "eminence in life's work and service to alma mater."

Tim Ubben is the founder of Lincoln Capital Management, a Chicago-based investment firm.  He and his wife, Sharon Williams Ubben '58, created a lectureship in 1986 which has brought world leaders such as Margaret Thatcher and Willy Brandt to the DePauw campus.
