DePauw's Win Streak Ends in Loss to Wittenberg

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw's 17- match win streak came to an end at the hands of 13th-ranked Wittenberg as the visiting Tigers took a 3-1 (25-16, 20-25, 25-22, 25-23) win over DePauw in a North Coast Athletic Conference match at the Neal Fieldhouse. 

With the win Wittenberg improved to 12-5 overall and 5-0 in NCAC play, while DePauw dropped to 17-2 overall and 4-1 in the NCAC.

DePauw was led by Sarah Burtenshaw with 12 kills, while Faith Rolwes had 35 assists and both Tori Bowerman and Brekiesha Weszely added 11 digs. Rachael Lenderman led the Tigers with three service aces.

Andrea Behling led Wittenberg with 14 kills, while Meghan Vodopich added 11 kills and 36 assists. Kiah Murray led the visiting Tigers with 20 digs.

DePauw returns to action Saturday, October 12, when they travel to Whitewater, Wis. to take on Washington-St. Louis and Wisconsin-Whitewater. The Tigers' first match starts at 12 pm (Central).
