Morrison Named to NSCAA All-America Team

Andy MorrisonGreencastle, Ind.- DePauw junior forward Andy Morrison (Bristol, Ind./Northridge) has been selected to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Continental Tire NCAA Division III Men’s All-America Third Team.

Morrison is just the fourth Tiger to earn All-America honors and the first since Nathan Sprenkel and Sam Meyer were honored in 2011.

The three-time all-North Coast Athletic Conference selection and two-time first team choice shared the team lead this season with 14 goals and led the Tigers with seven assists for a team-high 35 points. He also delivered seven game-winning goals for the 14-2-3 Tigers.

BY3R3467Morrison ranks in a tie for fourth in school history with 36 career goals, tied for eighth with 18 assists and tied for third with 90 points. He was recently named the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division III Men’s All-Great Lakes Region First Team. This is his second straight first team selection after earning second team honors in 2011.

Off the field, Morrison excels in the classroom majoring in economics and boasting a 3.73 cumulative grade point average through his first four semesters. For his efforts, he was named to the Capital One Academic All-America® Division III Men’s Soccer Third Team as selected by the members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
