"If orange is the new black, DePauw University may have to change its school colors," begins an Indianapolis Star article. "At least for one day next year, when Piper Kerman, author of the book behind hit Netflix series Orange Is the New Black, comes to campus to give an Ubben Lecture."
Stephanie Wang reports that Kerman will discuss "Lessons Learned Behind Bars," on February 4, 2015 at DePauw’s Kresge Auditorium. "Kerman is now an advocate for prison reform and serves on the board of the Women’s Prison Association."
The story also points out, "New York Times columnist David Brooks will also present an Ubben Lecture on Oct. 4. The free lecture series, established by Timothy H. and Sharon Williams Ubben, aims to 'bring the world to Greencastle.' "
