Holly Baker '90 Awarded Walker Cup

May 11, 1990

May 11, 1990, Greencastle, Ind. - Holly D. Baker is the 1990 recipient of DePauw University's Walker Cup. Named for 1890 DePauw graduate Guy Morrison Walker, the award recognizes the senior student judged to have contributed the most to the University during his or her four-year college career.

Baker, a philosophy major and member of Phi Beta Kappa, has served as editor of the Mirage yearbook for two years and as secretary and vice president of Academic Council.  She's also served on a number of committees, and was awarded the Alice G. Ross Senior Memorial Award, which is presented to a senior woman from Indiana whose leadership made the DePauw campus more aware of women's issues, concerns and contributions.
