Greg Ruark '83 Named Interim Head Women's Soccer Coach at Ripon College

Greg Ruark, who received a master's degree from DePauw University in 1983 and was an assistant soccer coach for the Tigers, has been appointed interim head women's soccer coach at Ripon College in Wisconsin. Ruark is entering his second season with Ripon after spending last year as an assistant coach.

"I am extremely pleased that Greg has accepted the interim head coaching position with our women's soccer program, and I look forward to working with him through this transition period," said Julie Johnson, athletic director of Ripon College. "Greg comes to us with a tremendous amount of coaching and administrative experience and he'll be an asset to both the soccer program and our athletic department."

"Currently the Head girls soccer coach at Oshkosh West High School, Ruark has 34 years of coaching experience at the college and high school levels," notes an announcement. "Ruark also serves as the director of player development for the Oshkosh United Soccer Club. Prior to that, he served as assistant men's coach at fellow Midwest Conference school, Lawrence University. The head men's and women's soccer coach at Rose-Hulman for 15 years, Ruark has also served as an assistant at DePauw University."
