Social Entrepreneur Megan Casey Glover '04 Among Indy's 'Forty Under 40'
February 10, 2018
Megan Glover, co-founder & CEO of 120WaterAudit and 2004 graduate of DePauw University, is among the Indianapolis Business Journal's "Forty Under 40" for 2018.
"Our latest class is loaded with achievers determined to better our community," notes the publication. "It’s a diverse group that includes an ER physician fighting the opioid epidemic, one of the journalists who broke the USA Gymnastics scandal and an entrepreneur striving to improve water quality."
Glover's company, 120WaterAudit, is a subscription-based water testing service that helps consumers and institutions check for harmful contaminants such as lead, arsenic, nitrates and other primary contaminants throughout the year.
Lou Harry writes, "After a stint at Angie’s List, Glover joined Compendium (which was sold to Oracle in 2013). After building its marketing and sales-development function, she worked for a variety of startup and scale-up companies, including Delivra, RICS Software and DyKnow. She owned and operated 3 Dots Marketing before co-founding 120WaterAudit."
Megan Casey Glover, who majored in communication at DePauw, tells IBJ, "I buy healthy snacks and organic milk—all the things I think I should do to protect my kids -- but I didn’t see an option for consumers to test their water."
120WaterAudit was a winner of Steve Case's "Rise of the Rest" competition.
