After DePauw Ubben Lecture, Jenna Fischer to Appear at LA Times Festival of Books

"More than 400 authors, illustrators, performers and new media creators will participate in the two-day" Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, notes the newspaper.  The presenters will include Jenna Fischer and the event takes place April 21-22, less than a week after her April 17 Ubben Lecture at DePauw University.

Other featured authors include Junot Diaz, Walter Mosley, Gabrielle Union, Viet Thanh Nguyen, Joyce Carol Oates, Tayari Jones, Dave Eggers and Leslie Odom Jr., a September 2016 Ubben Lecturer.  The festival takes place at the University of Southern California.

Fischer starred in The Office and is now seen in ABC's Splitting Up Together. She is also featured in Clint Eastwood's  The 15:17 to Paris and has had roles in Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, Blades of Glory, Solitary Man, Hall Pass, and The Giant Mechanical Man (which she also produced). 

At DePauw, Fischer will discuss her career and her recently published book, The Actor’s Life: A Survival Guide, take questions from the audience, and sign books. Learn more about the event, which is free and open to the public, here.
