Rachel Goldberg, associate professor and director of peace and conflict studies, was interviewed by Zippia for “Experts Weigh in on Current Job Market Trends,” an article that appeared online Dec. 4.
Aldrin Magaya, assistant history professor, was awarded a research grant and the 2020 Best Paper Award in the Africa category by the Association the Study of the Middle East and Africa. His paper was titled “Change within Continuity: Sacred and Holy Spaces and Socialization in Bocha, Zimbabwe, c1910-1960s.”
Jonathan Nichols-Pethick, John D. Hughes professor in communication and theatre, director of the Eugene S. Pulliam Center for Contemporary Media and director of the Media Fellows Program, was quoted by Courthouse News Service in “Maine Urges 1st Circuit to Keep Public-Access TV Out of ‘Digital Siberia’” Dec. 10.
