Campus Master Plan 2010

The Campus Master Plan is intended to guide the development of our buildings and grounds to support and nurture aspirations for DePauw's future.

For more than 180 years, DePauw University has established its place among the leading institutions of higher education in the United States as a place of learning and connection, a university that transforms students. By providing a student experience of extraordinary quality in a small-scale residential setting, DePauw has become one of the truly exceptional institutions of American higher education.

Through careful planning, DePauw can become known, even more that it is today, as a place that attracts students of significant promise and achievement and develops them in a compelling teaching, learning, and developmental environment.

The totality of the experience at DePauw should be vibrant and challenging, from the seminar rooms and classrooms to the residence halls and community living arrangements, from the co-curricular programs to the athletic programs and the artistic and creative opportunities provided. Our environs are a key component of this experience, not merely the background. They are the means through which we provide the best possible version of the DePauw academic and social experience.

This Campus Master Plan is intended to guide the development of our buildings and grounds to support and nurture these aspirations for DePauw's future.  For the latest updates on progress towards elements of the Campus Master Plan, implemented in 2010, please visit our current projects page
