The Thrifty Tiger

The Thrifty Tiger is a campus-based, student-run thrift shop that seeks to promote sustainable consumption and reduce waste on the DePauw University Campus. Founded in Spring 2015, the store is located in the basement of Mason Hall and is accessible by all student and staff ID cards.

Spring 2023: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays 4:00-6:00pm. Follow the store on Instagram for up-to-date hours, event information, and sale promotions!

donations

The Thrifty Tiger accepts clothing, school supplies, costumes, and household items in good shape. Please drop off donations in one of the bins outside of the store.

Events and Partnerships

Are you interested in hosting an event related to the Thrifty Tiger such as a fashion show or clothing swap? Do you want to get a donation box for your sorority or fraternity? Please bring your unique ideas forward and we'll try to help! Email sustainability@depauw.edu

Volunteer

Students are welcome to "drop in" during store hours to assist interns. Bonner Scholars and other students interested in service can establish regular volunteer hours each semester. Athletic teams, classes, student organizations, and fraternities/sororities should email sustainability@depauw.edu to discuss plans for group volunteer sessions.
