Young Life is an active Christian Student Organization at DePauw
The Christian community at DePauw includes rich and diverse opportunities for worship, spiritual growth and community service. With campus clubs & affiliates such as Young Life, Grounded Co, InterVarsity Greek, Tiger Catholic, Exalt! Gospel Choir, and WyldLife, students have opportunity to build community with one another and with mentors. We even have a student-directed coffee shop with a weekly event called “Coffee and Christ”. This non-profit coffee shop in downtown Greencastle serves as a creative spiritual space for students and the larger community.
As a collaborative effort between many of the Christian groups on campus, the community offers an annual Christmas Tree Lighting celebration in front of Admissions.
Beyond campus, Greencastle is home to many churches of varying denominations (several within walking distance of DePauw) that enjoy the presence of college students in their congregations.
DePauw’s Center for Spiritual Life is staffed with ordained clergy and chaplains who are available to meet with students for pastoral care, discernment and support.
