The primary athletic venue within DePauw's Lilly Center is the Raymond "Gaumey" Neal Fieldhouse, named in honor of the coach of DePauw’s undefeated, untied and unscored upon 1933 football team. The fieldhouse includes a 2,400-seat basketball and volleyball arena and three multipurpose courts which can accommodate a range of additional sports.
The Lilly Center, which is home to Neal Fieldhouse, is currently undergoing 36,000 square foot expansion, along with renovation of existing space, to accomodate a new 16,000 square foot fitness center, expanded laboratory space for kinesiology, and new multi-purpose fitness and recreation rooms, among other improvements.
